Jeanne is a late-bloomer, outdoors woman, wildflower lover, and a cheerleader for women who try. Her only regrets in life are––she’s never lived on a farm and she never got to Woodstock. After twenty-eight years in business, Jeanne and her husband sold their video security company. In that previous life, she was the Illinois governor’s Small-Business Person of the Year. She served as township tax collector, Chamber of Commerce president, and on bank and hospital boards. She writes light-mystery novels. Rim to Rim and Wolf Pack are backpacking adventures. Her cozy series, Tennis Team Mysteries, includes Gator Bait and Killer Serve. She belongs to Mystery Writers of America and critique groups in Illinois and Florida. Her passion is encouraging grandparents to write their life stories and has formed a group to do just that. When not writing, Jeanne bicycles long distances, hikes, entertains grandchildren, volunteers with the historical society, or plays tennis, golf or pickleball. She lives with her husband of fifty years in Florida and in a Chicago suburb. www.jeannemeeks.com
